Threading the film…
In May 2022, I travelled to Scotland with Canadian long-distance paddler Martin Trahan to paddle a small but formidable route. However, a series of tribulations made our expedition even more challenging. This film documents our journey whilst exploring the reasons why canoeing is more than just a form of recreation but a way of finding purpose, identity, and perspective in an ever-changing world. Journey kindly supported by: Bending Branches - https://bendingbranches.com NRS - https://www.nrseurope.com / https://www.nrs.com Sidetracked Magazine - https://www.sidetracked.com/ Firepot Food - https://www.firepotfood.com/ I do not make any financial profit from these films. Although I get incredible support from brands for the trips, the costs during the editing process and the licensing of third-party assets (such as music) come from my own pocket. Whilst I know there are options for revenue from YouTube advertising, I want people to enjoy the film without interruptions. If you would like to support me with the editing of future films, you can buy me a coffee at the link below. All contributions will be invested strictly into future productions. Any support will be greatly appreciated! https://bmc.link/jamiebarnes This video was shot using the following gear: • Sony a7S III full-frame mirrorless camera • Sony a7R III full-frame mirrorless camera • Sony FE 24-105mm F4 lense • Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 lense • Sony FE 50mm F1.8 lense • DJI Mavic II drone • GoPro 6 If you would like to get in contact with me about my services as a cinematographer, video editor or outdoor guide, please contact me here: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jamiebarnesuk email: jamiebarnesuk@gmail.com Website: www.jamiebarnesoutdoors.com
