We Explored Disneyland the Way Most People Never Do

Disneyland Resort is one of the most visited family travel destinations in California, and in this adventure we spent three days exploring both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. From Pixar-themed attractions and iconic Disney rides to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Lightning Lane strategies, and finding a hotel within walking distance of the parks. 📍 Disney California Adventure Park https://maps.app.goo.gl/yCX3bL2ULbSY8Ptu9 We started our Disneyland adventure at Disney California Adventure, a park known for its Pixar attractions, themed lands, and Route 66-inspired atmosphere. Cars Land immediately stood out with its detailed recreation of Radiator Springs from the Cars movies. One of the biggest attractions was Radiator Springs Racers. The standby wait reached around 95 minutes, so we opted for the separate Lightning Lane purchase to save time. Throughout the day we also explored family-friendly attractions like The Little Mermaid – Ariel's Undersea Adventure, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, Pixar-themed areas, and classic rides that worked well for younger visitors. 📍 Best Western Plus Park Place Inn – Anaheim https://maps.app.goo.gl/5cdwA4EpyMpQS7pd7 One of the biggest advantages of our Disneyland trip was staying at a hotel directly across from the resort entrance. Best Western Plus Park Place Inn offered a convenient location that allowed us to walk to the parks in less than ten minutes without dealing with Disneyland parking, traffic, or shuttle schedules. For travelers arriving in a camper van, RV, or larger vehicle, the spacious parking area was especially useful. Walking through Main Street U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland felt completely different from California Adventure. We explored classic attractions including Pinocchio's Daring Journey, Alice in Wonderland, Storybook Land Canal Boats, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, and several other family-friendly rides.
