I couldn’t believe what I saw from our rooftop bedroom this morning. At 6 AM, Louis Jr. was fast asleep on the woodpile—and only about 50 cm away, a wild fox, (Louis Jr knows him since he was a kitten and the fox was a youngster) had curled up for a nap too. 🦊😺 This video may be the most relaxing thing I’ve ever filmed. Enjoy the natural ASMR of the wetlands, the dawn birdsong, and bird’s-eye views over Louis Jr.’s and Leons kingdom: the gardens, the neighborhood, the wooden bridge, and the wild wetlands beyond. Sometimes nature offers moments so peaceful that they feel almost unreal. Louis Senior, who lived here for 15 years, would occasionally relax side by side with one of the local foxes as well. Seeing Louis Jr. continue this quiet tradition feels like a small piece of wilderness history repeating itself. The foxes are wild animals and remain completely independent, though the gardens near the wetlands offer them protection to raise their cubs because the local huntsman is not allowed to hunt in garden areas. Occasionally, they benefit from the mice and rats that the cats catch in the wetlands, lately Leon caugth a rat and finally the fox carried it away! Sit back, relax, and enjoy one of the sweetest wildlife encounters I’ve ever witnessed. 🌿✨ And yes: this was the fox louis was playing with in the other video we posted a while a go. #MaineCoon #Fox #Wildlife #ASMR #NatureSounds #Birdsong #Wetlands #LouisJr #TheWildlifeBrothers #RelaxingVideo #NatureLovers #AnimalFriends #MorningASMR #catandfox
