Using What Nature Gives Us: Hazelnut Harvest, Fire Roasted Pumpkin & Cherry Wood Carving

Thank you so much for tuning in again! We had so much fun harvesting hazelnuts... would love to plant some hazelnut trees one day. In this video we bring you along to our new "Timber Tavern" on our property to bake a pumpkin pie over the fire. I love using sweetened condensed milk while cooking outdoors since it's less hassle than bringing a bunch of sugar, milk or cream etc. We don't have a pie server so I asked Trustin if he could make one last minute. He chopped one up out of cherry wood and it worked great! We've got quite the collection of wooden cooking and serving utensils accumulating thanks to him and my requests.
