It’s not always about more edge! I find even my strongest skiing students can’t control low edge angles with balance and control very well. Because they often have never spent time on what I consider are fundamental skiing skills. The surprising thing people discover is that by working on skiing with less edge engagement they find that: - they can ski smoother and control direction much better in tighter spaces - they have better feel for how they add more edge back into their skiing! I’ve spent a lot of time in my own skiing mastering many different “drifting” or low edge angle drills and I can say it has been hugely beneficial. I know it will also help me ski well into my older years with less strain and more style. If this video made you think about how to become a better skier I invite you to visit www.BigPictureSkiing.com to find organized progressions and ski tutorials made by me. I go into how you can master the same drills I showed above and improve your skiing. Want to find out what my premium content (not found on YouTube is like?
