When Okuma sent out their 40th Anniversary Collector’s Edition to partners and creators, a lot of people did unboxing videos. We decided to do something different. Instead of keeping it on a shelf, we brought it to the Addicted Bash and gave it back to the community that has supported us from day one. The winner was the sweetest little lady, and seeing how excited she was made the whole night worth it. At the end of the day, gear is just gear. The people who have watched our videos, supported our business, and shown up to events year after year are the reason we get opportunities like this. We’d rather share those moments than keep them to ourselves.
