On October 12, 2025 my friend Kali and I hiked the Clear Lake Loop, as well as hiked the McKenzie River Trail down to Sahalie and Koosah Falls and looped back around on the waterfall loop trail. In total this ended up being 11.8 miles and it rained the entire time :) It was stunning and I highly recommend this hike whether it be spring, summer or fall (there does tend to be snow here in the winter).
