The PNW is the best place to see waterfalls and this trail might take the cake if we are naming the best waterfall hike in the USA 😍 📍Lewis River Falls Trail in Washington, USA This hike is 6.5-7 miles long if you park at and start from the Lower Lewis Falls lot. There is a parking lot near middle falls you can park at too. ‼️To visit - you need a permit starting June 15th. You can get these on recreation.gov and they are needed until the beginning of September. Our PRO TIP: try and snag a campsite at Lower Falls Campground to stay right near the main swimming waterfall! This is a great way to avoid permit issues AND you get to stay near these waterfalls & explore them more. 🐶Dogs are allowed on the trail, just keep them on leash!
