What Is The Fastest Hunting Bow Of 2026?

I’ve got seven bows in for the 2026 Hunting Bow Shootout. Our first multi-bow video of the year is all about speed. In this video we set up each bow to 70 pounds of draw weight and between 30” and 30.25” of draw length test for speed with our trusty chronograph. For this test, we shot a 350-grain arrow and a 455-grain arrow. We’ve got two goals with this first. First, we wanted to see which bow was fastest. Second, we wanted to see which bows came closest to their advertised speeds. Overall, this years batch of bows was a pleasant surprise. Six of the seven bows came within 11 FPS of their advertised speeds and four of them came within 5 FPS. That is impressive, considering each bow is outfitted with a peep and a D-loop. In all our years of testing, we’ve never had that many bows come so close. In most years, we are lucky to have more than one bow come withing 5 FPS. This is a great trend and we are hoping it continues next year.
