The Endurance Life Classic Quarter has to be one of the best trail running events on the UK race calendar. I might be slightly biased because I live and train in Cornwall, but this iconic coastal route is truly EPIC and offers some of the most spectacular trail running scenery you'll find anywhere. It had been a long time since I last stood on the start line, so this year I decided to return — but not alone. Joining forces with three great friends, we took on the Endurance Life Classic Quarter as a four-man relay team, sharing the challenge and the adventure together. It was fantastic to be back on one of my favourite trail running routes with some awesome people, but the weather gods definitely had other ideas! From stunning Cornish coastline to challenging conditions, this year's race proved once again why the Classic Quarter remains one of the UK's most memorable trail running events.
