Don’t stay inside this winter! This is Great Meadows Conservation Trust in Wethersfield. These vital wetlands lie adjacent to the Connecticut River and are home to bald eagles, horned lark and savannah sparrows. This is the largest freshwater marsh in the state. A short and easy trail allows visitors to appreciate the natural beauty of the area. Stop by Old Wethersfield while you’re in the area. My favorite spot is the @heirloommarket !
